I've loved the names of the achievements.  Adorable.  And fun.

Not sure if someone posted one like this yet.

"Old but not useless!" - Kill a 5 eny plane with a 30+ eny plane.
Might get some people flying the "crappier" planes more.

How about.
"1000 plane raid" for doing 1,000,000 worth of bomb damage.
"Are you mental" for landing a 4 engine bomber on a carrier and getting you landed safely.

Bomber Command - Land 25 mission in Lancasters/Bostons after hitting strats
17th Air Force - Land 25 Missions in B-17/B-24 after hitting Strats
15th Air Force - Land 25 Missions in B-25/B-26 after hitting Strats
Redevelopment zone - Bomb the City at the Strats

how about some negative achievements for example

How about these?

"The Fly" - Dive repeatedly on the same enemy plane.
"The Double Dip" - Vulch kill an enemy plane as he tries to take off then loop over and kill him again as he tries to take off a 2nd time.
"Monkey Steals The Peach" - Grab the enemy's supplies.
"Marble Mouth" - Talk on range channel all night with a garbled microphone.
"The Skeeter Jeeter" - Fly cover for a bomber mission then split at the first sign of trouble.

What no movie?- Fly a bomber for two hours or Fly 10 sectors in one sortie
Marathon runner- Fly a fighter for two hours or Fly 10 sectors in one sortie
Born on the bayou- Capture a base with a friendly CV parked less than 3k off the field (would be awarded to players inside the dar ring for the captured base and/or CV
Fire sale!- Make an enemy loose 150 perk points in one sortie. IE: shoot down a 262, B-29 or 3 king tigers
The milk man- Land 25,000 damage in a single sortie
No skills, no kills- Kill an enemy without dropping your ords/ drop tanks
Sorry boss- Shoot down any HTC staff member
What's cookin' good lookin'?- Bail out of a burning plane
BBQ- Get 10 kills by setting enemy planes on fire (already requested but I like it)
Bullet to the face!- Get a kill by killing the pilot 25 times (meant to be an arrow to the knee parody)
The astronaut- Fly at 30k or higher for at least 10 minutes
High and mighty- Evade an enemy by flying above their service ceiling
Pitch a tent- Vulch an enemy field by using a CVs puffy ack (25 kills required)
Backwoods love- Kill get a GV to GV kill at least 3k out from both GV spawns
Preemptive strike- White flag a fully up town without any enemy air cons in the same sector
What's going on?- Keep the enemy from dropping any supplies for their HQ until it pops on it's own (good luck with that one)
Raiding Berlin- Drop the enemy's HQ single handily
Sheep shagger- Enter a GV hot zone and avoid being killed by hiding in a barn until all enemy GV have towered
CHARGE!- Successfully break the enemy's spawn camp

I'm expecting some flak for this one...

Dell's delivery- Capture an enemy base with an M3 driven one full sector without a GV spawn point.

I must say that I'd initially disliked the notion of achievements since it appeared to pander to the XBox crowd.  Now, have to admit the game is better for it.  It not only provides fun little goals, it provides a history of sorts-the kind of history where you can say "darn, I saved 5,000 fighters perks and still couldn't find anything to spend them on..."

"Mr. Consistent" - Get 3 or more kills in each of 10 consecutive fighter sorties
"Blinkfecta" - Get three or more kills with a 5 second period
"Hart in the game" - Fly 1,425 fighter sorties
"Bong Voyage" - Land a 40 kill streak in the P-38
"Holey Cow" - Land a fighter that has taken 166+ bullet/cannon hits
"Just Sayi'n" -Give a check 6 call to someone who dies within the next 30 seconds
"Pacifist Ace" -Land 5 kills without firing a shot in a single sortie
"Proxy Master" -Have 100 kills by proxy
"Should I get out and push?" -Ditch an aircraft within 1k of friendly pavement
"Neener, I lived" -Land 2 or more kills after taking damage from 5 or more enemies
"Corky impersonator" -End your sortie with only the fuselage of your aircraft attached to the cockpit...
