I dont remember the lore well enough, help me out: When does the IS get HVAC's?  That tips the scale in their favor iirc.

I'm not a fan of the single life per game mode they have right now.  It is not unusual at all to see the scoreboard at the end of the match and see everyone on the winning team is still alive.  Even other games that have had single life per games were actually setup in a best of 5 or best of 7 matches to determine the winner.

It might be they're trying to keep the games short duration on purpose, but I'm not a fan of no respawns game modes.

I played it for a couple of hours this morning.  Its seems quite fun but the only problem i have with it is that within 30 seconds of starting a game i know if my team is going to win or lose by seeing if everyone bomb bursts or stays together.

That is a complaint heard in the MWO forums as well.  "Too quick", and "too constricted".

The addition of larger maps is supposed to help with that and evidently there are some maps in the works that will dwarf the current maps.

There is a new bit of info about what is coming in the game for February.  One of the new items is a much larger map called Alpine.  The other new thing is another medium mech, the Trebuchet.

I'm more interested in the other two things that are further out in their plans.

1.  Dropship mode.  This is a game mode where you have 4 lives per game, 1 per each weight class I believe.  You drop in from your dropship after you die in one of the other mechs in your lineup.  If you don't have a mech from a weight class, they have 1 "trial" mech per weight class available each month for you to play with.

2.  Community warfare.  This is a meta game set on the star map of the Inner Sphere.  You pick planets and fight over them.  If you win the player vs player games, then that planet switches hands to your faction.
