Also, about FW, I've tried to join in the past, usualy a few weeks later when I get a responce I've lost interest.

Those that are members there... well it's probabley a wide vareity, but one thing they seem to have more are the very strong willed but weak minded individuals.

And most recently to my understanding, and of no surprise, plenty of members with righteousness but without any justification.

Is it fun over there?

Aces High dosen't need a political theater forum. It would eventualy get everyone banned for screaming "ist and ism" or speaking logic to emotions in response. Give Skuzzy a break for once. Insanity visa repeating same actions is overrated and boring. Skuzzy probably has better things to do than smell dirty laundry all day long.

And

See any conflict there?

yes the first time I got in was a few years back as I was curious when somebody would post a link to a thread that couldnt be discussed here that was soon after I created the guncrasher accoun on the ah bb.  my account on flamewrrios wasnt guncrahser as I was using a different id.  I dont even remember the id or password as it was one of my first id's created when I started playing aces high.  when I tried to get in using semp as I was a member of the wot clan when it started about a year and 1/2 ago I was declined.

so what is the conflict?  I have had several paying accounts in aces high over the same number of years but only a single bb account which is this one. I started playing about a year or year and 1/2 before I created this account on this bb.

There are things posted over on FW, and several particular members, who utterly disgust me. It is a completely unmoderated place where any speech is allowed, which I like, in spite of some of the things that get posted That is the price, so to speak, that you pay for completely free speech. I also think it is a good idea HTC does not allow that here, its not in their business interest, which most people forget, is the only reason THIS board exists. It is to support their business, not provide a libertarian utopia where anything is allowed. As HT says, its his house, you want to play you play by his rules.

So you haven't been there in 4+ years and you know all about how it is now? Gotcha.

Grits, spot on.

I know the Rules and questions of implementation aside, why don't we create a room for politics. If you don't want to engage, go somewhere else. If you do, strap on your big girl panties and deal with it. Everyone gets an opinion, no one has the right to hurt feelings. And we shouldn't worry about the blowhards. Just as in real life in due time everyone will know the serious posts versus drunk Uncle Joe and we'll be fine.

I am guessing the first thought is no but why not? Hijacking threads is bad form, I agree but this wouldn't be hijacking.

Flame on our lock this thread but it should be considered. Thoughts?

PS Call it the Rubber Room...cut right to the chase.

Why I ask, what does politics have to do with AH. If you want to talk politics go to the Fox, Cnn,MSN new web site, there you can get enough gov bs talk all you want. I kind wish the only forums on this site would be bug and squad froms, most everything on here is worse than politics could ever be

weak minded? ?   lmao

Without going into the names - I got some nasty PMs recently on this board about one of my supposed squad member's conduct, supposedly originating from your land of higher-intelligence (FW).  I went digging through our records in the past to be sure, and current stats (a couple clicks and a name query on the website, or a quick login to teh game and a roster refresh) show this individual was never and isn't one of our squad's members.

Relived it's not my responcibility, but geebus frapin krikee if I didn't have enough material for a bonfire in my inbox from a couple of individuals that weekend.

Yup, good people too for the most part.  Who gave you the responSibility to judge people as weak-minded when you haven't even been a part of the discussion, you should be r-e-l-i-e-v-e-d of that responsibility.  Apparently the judgement came from a very low-information vantage point.

Ironic.   :D

Agreed, I shouldn't waste my time judging those (after they've already wrongly and unfoundedly made such a huge and unfounded stink privately judging others that I've been dragged into it) when it doesn't even have anything to do with me or my squad members, and nor is it my responsibility.

PS - If you really want to waste the time on it, "yup" isn't a word, but "uninformed" is.  Now we've both improved our grammar today.  :aok
