Thanks for the help so far.
The Memory not matching, I'm honestly not sure I've ever seen them match!
If there is something there that is wrong though any extra info on that would be nice.
As for the power to run 2 monitors, I would hope it does as I run a 7970 (just realized the DxDiag only says 7900 series). So it should easily have enough power for dual screen.
Is it doing the same thing if you only use one monitor, that one with the garbled image? If it does, try with the other monitor's cable, in both connectors of the video card.
I haven't tried a single one since the issue happened, but I've been running the card since December without ever seeing that issue til now. Just hooked up dual monitor about a week ago and seen it 3 times now at the most random and uncontrollable circumstances. I honestly have no idea how to even reproduce it to test it. I do have a new cable already on the way as I am replacing this VGA cable with HDMI/DVI, never had an issue with the DVI I have had for a few years now (though I've had bad luck with things dieing lately!)
I will try resetting Firefox though tonight and see if it happens any after that.
I noticed your DXdiag show 2 cards,are you running crossfire 79xx's ?
I only run a single 7970 (Neither Mobo nor wallet is capable of CrossX). It seems to be showing each monitor as its own "card" in the DxDiag (going off the resolutions listed). I don't use the CCC to control Dual-Screen if that would make any difference there, I just use Windows 'Screen Resolution' to set them up.
Aside from this strange, and completely random issue, there have been no issues with the card or Dual-Screen.
Again, thanks for the help!
