Philosophers became emotionally rich off of:"Perception becomes reality"....what they could never agree on is how people can have such massive differences in perception when seeing the same thing or outcome. Take perverts answer up there...while he said it in jest, some people (AHers as a subculture) actually begin to believe their own excuses thus changing their perception of themselves which in turn, becomes their reality.
