Thks all for your input I cant speak on batched but I play right beside dr7 pretty much all the time and he too is having the same issues fugitive. I am putting film together to send into HT you all are right maybe seeing is believing. Last night I am fighting the bish I have a t34 85 top the berm to my right flank at 1400 yds I take the shot its a direct hit and nothing I fire 7 more times all direct hits only to have the enemy tank turn and in one shot I was killed. This is only one of many in this battle I was able to record it have not yet view it but its recorded along with all the rest that took place. Like I said earlier I have been at this for along time and when playing daily like I do you become in tune with the game so a year back or so something changed to were now I'm having to shoot 2, 3, 6, even 7 times to get the kills or as I stated get kill. So frustrating even to the point of quiting. I win the fight yet I die.
I've said for years now that range is one trump card and angle of impact is another. Just because the chart says your tank can defeat the armor on the enemy tank at X range does not mean it is going to. The slope of the enemy armor and more so the impact angle of the incoming round factor HUGE in to the equation. THEN, just because you defeat the armor does not mean you're going to destroy the tank.
Try this and you'll see exactly what I mean: Get a squad mate/partner and get in to the dueling arena. One player up a Panzer IV H and the other a Panther G. Start at 400 yards apart, facing, and have the Panzer IV H shoot at the frontal armor on the Panther. Report what happens. Then, back the ranges off to 800 yards and do the same. Then, back the ranges off to 1200 yards, then to 1600 yards, then to 2000 yards. The entire time have the Panzer IV H hit the frontal armor of the Panther. I know exactly what is going to happen because I've tested this stuff time and time again with every combination of tanks in AH and like I've said for yeas now: range and angle of impact are the two trump cards. %99 of the time there is no bug, just the armor doing its job.
If you see something record it, send it in, then HTC
will review it, they don't want a game full of bugs. Case in point: I had my Panther destroyed by a M4/76 at 2800 yards by a hit to my front (not possible!). The round hit the front of the track and near parallel to the hull. The round penetrated all the through the track and connected with the Panther hull at least %50 of the way way. Knowing the angle of impact was far too sharp I sent in the footage and guess what: the next patch HTC "fixed a damage bug in the Panther" in the change notes.
