Battlefiel Earth was an absolute turd of a book. Unidimensional characters and abysmally stupid story (example: it's impossible for humans to do calc in base 11... Please!). We can thank Travolta for turning it into the movie it deserved (which I haven't seen TBH, but I had the masochistic 'pleasure' to read the book).

I was never into "scifi" by far more of a fantasy..... sword and sorcery type...but I enjoyed BattleField Earth....that was the first SciFi book that I got into.....crap I read that at 17 and still remember the whole book.

Ya man.....I was impressed....not a big fan of the TV in general but its nice to sit back once inawhile to watch a good show....
I was very disappointed in the Walking Dead ending...
