sounds like one of my cousins...pretty typical of the backwoods boys to not have 2 nickels but there was always a bottle of booze around.  :lol you guys must have started out pretty early in the day, 90 minute drive with traffic but, hitchin could take days...especially in hancock county.

acid bath sounds a lot like another band...i'll have to dig through my collection and see if i can find it.

Naw, we were just a couple of teenage gutter punks with nothin to lose. If I recall correctly, it took about 6-8 hours. That was '96 or '97.

IMO Deftones album "Adrenaline" kicks the crap outta new Metallica.

White Pony and Koi No Yokan kick the new Metallica out of the room.

Now best live bands I've seen, Dying fetus takes all. Decapitated, fleshgod, decrepit birth, rings of Saturn are damn good as well.

And mayhem, oh mayhem was freaking epic. Saw them on thier las American tour and WOW.

Gonna be a while till they come back

This band changed my life.
I was introduced to them at a show in New Orleans when I was 15.
A friend and I hitchhiked to N.O.L.A. from Gulfport Miss. To see them and some other bands.
They are so versatile and have such a good singer.
I wish they were still around.

Shortly after I saw them they disbanded after the bass player was killed in a car accident after only 2 albums.

I've enjoyed Scream of the Butterfly since it was released, never really gave a listen to the rest of the albums.

Yes Dying Fetus and Mayhem are amazing live.
But still, nothing comes close to Gwar.
