Heres a picture of the tusk I found the next week under the tree. Weird thing was I didn't find any other bones. It was late at night an I didn't look real hard but you would think there would be something left lying around. I looked all around the tree as best as I could but this is all I came up with.

This was late 1980 or early 1990.

Humm that is damn strange then. The exotic species problem didn't start in the everglades until the late 90s with Hurricane Andrew which resulted in the release of several exotic species in the everglads including pythons that have been breeding and reaching incredible sizes. Also of note several before unknown escapees of what I can only assume were from local small zoos have been caught or filmed in the glades including orangutans.

Had a encounter with that thing when I was a young teen on a hunting trip with several firefighters.
Wanted to see if there where any stories you might have relating to that subject?  I will share my rather lengthy story later in this thread.

I was looking through my records and remembered it was 1 year prior to Value Jet going down out there. 1995

That being said, both leopards and jaguars are known to take kills into trees. There have been reports of jaguars in Mexico and other countries sagging horses for miles at a time.
And leopards frequently take 100 something gazelles into trees with out effort.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it was either of these 2 animals to bag pulled a 200 pound hog up a tree n

One time I was in Northern California hiking by lake Shasta, and I saw saw 2'peoe running round the forest nude. Total :headscratch:nmoment

Jags have the ability to bring it up a tree, but don't.   Leopards do almost every time in fear of Hyena's and lions.(mostly hyena's)  and let me say this anyone who thinks a Hyena is a small animal that is weak..... :rofl :rofl  holy crap they could not be more wrong....Jags don't need to bring their food items up a tree, they are king in their part of the world.

as far as not finding dead bodies....it very well could be the same as sea turtles that go to a grave site to die.....they (Sasquatch) could easily have a cave or spot that they go to when they are going to die and or be buried by their family.....I do believe they long ago realized how dangerous man was even though we are "weak" our deviousness makes up for that, they have learned to avoid us....

Surfinn-  ya when I saw the boobs on the suit.....it pretty changed my mind on them...and the fact that you can see a hemotoma on the things right leg....plus the muscle movement of the legs.... :O

I've heard a lot of people around here claiming to have seen large black cats (a black panther).

I have seen 2 black panthers here in Oklahoma, one where I'm from about 50 miles north of the Texas border and the other about 30 SW of Tulsa where I'm at now.  When they scream it'll make the hair on the back of your neck stand up until your completely out of there I promise you. :bolt:

Record it puller Jags and mountain lions sound different so audio recordings will be a good start especially if you have two in your area.

You sure it isn't one of Si and Phil Robertson's long lost relatives Surf?

In all seriousness, it can't be in MS/LA, because it's up here in the White Mtns. where those ppl were abducted and where Jeff Bridges came from.

Re: Jags in AZ, yes they have been confirmed by our G&F. Also have been protected as their presence has been confirmed.

Santa Claus gets kids to go to bed and allows parents to get drunk and laid, Chupacabra keeps kids in line and gets them to behave, Bigfoot keeps people out of the forest...seeing any patterns here?

Jags in Arizona are to this day not recognized by AZ game and wild life :aok
Most people will not except the idea and or reality of Sasquatch/bigfoot unless they have a experience them self's. So yes I'm seeing a pattern.

One time, a long time ago, I was walking late at night in the dense Greek jungle when out of nowhere I hear a voice saying "you are my son, but I m not your father"   To this day, I have not figured out who or what it was  :headscratch:
