Another night ruined
« on: August 09, 2013, 09:09:04 PM »
Was so glad I was able to leave the MA early to get a full night's worth of sleep...
... and then found myself dealing with noisy neighbours and the police for almost 2 hours  :bhead
Wife was not amused either, as she has to get up early this morning for work  :uhoh

Interestingly the troublemakers lived in the same house which I posted about last year, because it had five or six fires within short time.

I really have to win the lottery, so we can move to a better neighbourhood.  :(

My sympathies, we've basically out lived the (knock on wood) worst neighbors. The gun fire used to be frequent, now it's all strollers and hipsters. Bad landlords that don't care about the neighbors of their rentals are one of those things it would be nice to get rid of.

There ain't nothing finer than living in the country. I can go out at 2 in the morning if I want and start a fire, shoot my 44 and pass out drunk on the lawn and no one says a word........well the wife tends to get pissed  :uhoh

In absence of simply moving, befriend someone who can help you hide the bodies.  Life is too short to live beside terrible neighbors.

You've already won the lottery, your neighborhood isn't in Africa.

The gun fire used to be frequent

Fortunately, this is very, very very unlikely of ever happening here :)

Or perhaps do something productive instead of AH stats?  :devil

Boy Germany has changed since I was stationed there. Then again so has America. Back then you didnt want to be around if the Polizei had to come back a second time.

Its hard being a Lanlord. The Law prevents you from picking and choosing who you rent to, and it sure as heck makes it hard to get rid of bad ones. Renters far outnumber property owners when it comes to voting. If I had one piece of advice it would be never rent anywheres where the owner "doesn't" live on-sight.

Next time the house is in between renters.....it would be unfortunate if it burnt to the ground

When I first saw this thread I thought you were talking about your "in game" night. I'd say your night went pretty well by landing 8 Tempest kills off of our 10k B-26 strat raid.

Only solution when that happens is to log back onto AH, put your headphones on and ignore the world around you and try sleeping another night.

Noise doesnt bother me. Never has. My mother and anyone else who knows me well knows I can sleep anytime, anywhere and often in any position. As my mother likes to say "He could sleep on a picket fence in times square on new years eve"
