Sometimes you'll find squads that have certain rules of conduct that should be followed if you want to be a part of that squad. I see nothing wrong with that. One rule we have in the 56th is don't run your mouth on 200 all the time as it not only looks bad on you, but could possibly bring unwarranted grief on your squadmates. I personally think that's a great rule. There's too much smack talk in this game as it is...we don't need to add to it. And it sets an good example for new players.
Another rule we have is that we all fly the squad plane and fly together when we're on. For me that's what being in a squad is all about. Is my squad telling me what to do with my purchase?......technically yes, but that's what I signed up for. If I don't like it I'm free to leave anytime.
There are some things that happen in AH that I don't agree with, but personally I try not to get too angry about it.
One of the greatest things about AH is the ability to do pretty much anything you like.
When it comes to affecting squads I can see where you are coming from though, as they have rules and regulations that players agree to when they join.
If something like this is found to have happened and discipline is deemed necessary due to squad affiliation, then I'd prefer to see it dealt with privately with a PM instead of seeing everyone on the BBS bashing and lambasting them
