My side of the story is, me and crabs went to the early war arena to burn through a few achievments as there was nothing going on in the arenas
. We bailed within 1k of one another as we were able to do it faster as oppose to ashooting down on another.
And no i didnt do it for perks or for score. we did it twice and havent done it since. getting top fighter pilot was just a fluke end result.

Sheesh Crabby you always like getting people wound up.....   After reading the countless pages of this junk....and being a returning vet of the game back then the game was 2 Main Arenas and people were fighting to get in..... (good ole days)  There was always junk going on.  My suggestion who cares who's name is on the front page of a game?? Simple thing to do here is have HTC take it out and do away with it, we didn't have rank back in the day, we paid, we played we had fun, had good fights, base captures etc; some people have lives and can't play 24/7 but reguardless of rank in the end has jack crap to do or matter of how good a pilot is.  Those who don't get in the front page maybe just as good or better then those that do. just my two cents worth. <S>

I go back to 2002 and there has been a rank system long before they split the main arena. I agree, do away with it.

No idea, but I think GF was not too happy with his state that night...I think that might be the issue, but haven't heard a word.

If it's really giving him that much stife (or a contributing factor), he should ditch the ball and chain and just pickup many "hobbies".

Sorry, but that's a completely incorrect interpretation from my pov. That's tantamount to saying if you don't get caught it ain't wrong.

Gaming the game, so to speak, is not condoned in the 56th; however, there is no rule from
HTC stating it's wrong.  So who in this community can say what's right or wrong in this regard?  Those that do only create animosity and division... Ie; a witch hunt.

Zach knows how I feel about this - he has heard it more than once from several Wolfpack members.  Our ethics are not HTCs...

I know HTC removes people from the front page who got there by cheating, they have done in the past, so that should kinda be an indication of their feelings on it.

I could care less that you are amused.  What I'm saying is these witch hunt threads provide nothing good, unless folks get joy from it.  In which case, that says a lot to ME about their character.

1.  "They actually care about the game as a community": no, "they" post to promote drama - you seem to be part of that group since you are attacking me without warrant.  My ethos and standards are higher than that - re-read what I stated above.  You will not find any record of me or the 56th cheating or "lame gameplay" in AH.

2.  Me nor my squadmates participate in AH in a dishonorable manor, nor have I whined a penny's worth - just stated my thoughts.  Do not misrepresent me or the 56th for whatever agenda you have. 

3.  If someone (you) has a gripe/complaint with me or the 56th - by all means state it - I will surely address it.  Perhaps you/whoever would send it via PM so this witch hunt thread can die the death it deserves.

We care about gameplay, fairness, and sportsmanship. Shade vulching and boosting aren't in any of those categories.

There are probably 1 or 2 that are in it for the drama, but not the majority.
