I used to fly/gv with the honor code only to be HO'ed, rammed, vulched on landing, and nailed trying to get 6K away to land scalps.

I don't blame you. I try to fly "nicely" I guess you would call it.  With mercy.  If a friendly is engaged with an enemy I ask them if they need assistance, without barging in and stealing their kill.   There are some occasions where I see a wounded enemy plane and sometimes get the 'avenge kill'. Other times I "escort" them a ways towards their base.   

I try to play at least with some rules and guidelines knowing that those red icons are other players who are just trying to have a good time.
