I want a book where I can hear from the Horses mouth exactly how they defeated the vastly larger Soviet AF.
I mean its a great story aint it? Have any movies been made about it?
I think it would be misleading to say that FiAF out right defeated Soviet air forces. Considering the numbers, they overall performed a lot better though, that's for sure.
No movies I'm afraid, would be great if there were.
The two personal accounts translated to English that I can recommend reading are Ilmari Juutilainen's (highest scoring finnish ace) Double Fighter Knight and Eino Luukkanen's (3rd highest scoring finnish ace) Fighter over Finland which might be hard to come by.
Double Fighter Knight:

Captain H. Wind's Lectures on Fighter Tactics were written in 1943 to be used in training of new pilots. Afterwards, the lecture series was used in the Finnish Air Force for several decades. The lectures have been transferred into digital format in as original and accurate a form as possible - the way they were written in 1943. The author, Hans Wind, was the second highest scoring Finnish pilot of World War II and our highest scoring Brewster ace.
To our knowledge Wind's lectures have never been available in public before, and this is the first time it is fully translated to English.
