Mr. Coombz
« on: October 15, 2013, 07:45:08 AM »
Just copped a PNG for posting in the vets thread.

I didn't always agree with him, but I thought his critical honesty was refreshing and a balancing influence on the forum. He also helped me a lot understand the basics of internet and forum culture.

I will miss his posts  :old:

:salute Mr. Coombz, whichever corner of the internet you are now abiding.

While I may sympathize, I'm not so sure this thread is productive.  :huh

Coombzy - gone.
Midway - still here.

He might had a bad day, but thats one thing, he wasnt a blatant troll, nor a rotten egg.

It's pretty simple really; abide by the rules and you're free to blather all day long.

Coombz just didn't have it yesterday.  I told him to go to bed and come back when he had his mojo.   :old:

I thought that fear was the mind-killer?   :headscratch:

Fear is an emotion. Anger is an emotion. Fear and anger are Siamese twins. Love is also an
emotion. It can make you do stupid things. Therefore, I postulate that emotion is indeed a
'mind killer' (or at least dis-abler).

I saw nothing in my post that contradicted. I simply expanded upon such. More than fear can fog the mind.  ;)

I thought Coombzy occasionally bent the rules a bit but no more than some others. I guess what he bent them over wasn't popular.

Balance in all things should there be. Disturbance in the force this is.
