No need for apologies, can't expect every FSO to be perfect. FSO is a night to fly with my squaddies in a typical historic organized event, trying to obtain a goal by working together. To be honest I never care about the score. In my opinion you guys probably use the score more as a measure to make sure that both sides are as equal as possible. You guys do a great job so no worries.
Big Salute to those Allied pilots, they flew very smart against the better turning Jap plane set. Had to chase a lot of them to no avail. Not saying they were running, but playing it smart and using tactics. Lot of team work and maintaining "E" to get away if the fight turned sour for them. That was very realistic and the way to fight the Japanese <S>.
