May 2014 - Frame 2 Allied and Axis Objectives
« on: May 11, 2014, 09:26:27 AM »
"The Battle of Voronezh - June 1942"

The German armies press forward toward Voronezh.  Further south, the front seems to be holding, for the moment.  As the battle approaches its crisis point, both sides concentrate their air assets against fewer enemy targets...

ALLIED C-in-C:
Frame 2      9GIAP VVS RKKA         CO    Dantoo
Frame 3      325th Checkertails VFG      CO    CUTT

AXIS C-in-C:
Frame 2      367th Fg 'The Dynamite Gang'     CO    DH367th
Frame 3      JG54                            CO    jaeger1

For squad assignments - http://www.ahevents.org/fso-view-side-assignments.html

Each side's C-in-C is required to email their orders to me before distribution, for a very brief review.  I promise to be prompt.

The terrain file for this FSO is the "blacksea" map.  Please note that this map is half size: one mile on this map is actually two miles in Real Life.  Russia is big.  Really big.

All available Axis aircraft are enabled at all Axis active air bases.  All available Allied aircraft are enabled at all Allied active air bases.  Bases are listed here from North to South:

AXIS Active Air Bases
==============
A120
A124
A58
A64
A96
A7

The following three bases must be defended by the Axis (Luftwaffe) and attacked by the Allies (VVS):

Base   Map Sector
===   =======
V42   9-17-9
V27   9-15-2
V76   10-12-1

ALLIED Active Air Bases
===============
A125
A129
A19
A135
A138
A6

The following three bases must be defended by the Allies (VVS) and attacked by the Axis (Luftwaffe):

Base   Map Sector
===   =======
V45   11-17-1    (Voronezh)
V75   10-14-1
V154   11-12-2

Damage dealt to targets other than the six listed will score NO points.  Accurate navigation is important!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck and good hunting!
