Some information here about coloring on the 67th's P-400s can be found here:
http://forum.armyairforces.com/P400-correct-paint-colors-Henderson-Field-1942-m192589.aspxEssentially, as these were redirected lend-lease birds (note the British S/N format under the horizontal tail) the P-400s would have been painted using British specs. The camouflage on the upper surfaces would therefore have been in Dark Green, and either Dark or Light Earth. The undersides would have been painted Sky. However, as these aircraft originally carried the RAF fin flash, this would have been overpainted after they were redirected to the US squadrons, likely in Olive Drab. I think this is most likely ANA 613 Dark Olive Drab (RGB 85 79 68) over on Simmer's Paint Shop, as ANA 504 is specular/gloss. SPS notes two separate colors for ANA 613, however they speculate that the second color (RGB 95 94 78) is likely faded, so the other is the "fresh" paint job. Any subsequent touch-ups would have been from in whatever supplies were available on the island.
As noted on the P-40 threads, the U.S. Army stencils under the wings were in ANA 605 Insignia Blue, matching the roundel. Of note is that the P-400s deployed to Guadalcanal appear to be a mixed bag as far as whether or not they still possessed the red dots on the roundel. Some clearly don't have the dot, while some clearly do. Others seem to have an incomplete overpaint, causing the dot to bleed through the white paint applied over it.
Also, according to
this site, the spinners on the 67th's P-400s were color coded by flights (either red, white, yellow or blue).
We have 2 shark mouthed 39D's in game already. Check to make sure they're not duplicates before starting a new skin.
I already confirmed they're not. The two shark mouth P-39Ds belong to the 80th FPS and 39th FS, respectively. There's nothing for the 67th.
