$40k is not a lot of money nowadays :)

Isreal sells $7 billion in arms, india buys a lot of it because it does not like Pakistan who are always in a bad mood and support loons :rofl

All this coin going round and round and I dont get any of it :rofl

If you count 10 000 x 600 dollars and 10 000 x 40 000 dollars you quickly see which one is on the losing end.

Do you want to compare the GDP of Gaza and Israel? Also, this is the selling price not the production costs and on top of that, the money is recycled back into Israel's economy (rockets developed and made in Israel).

The ability to watch your enemies main weapon and pride shatter against Iron Dome is priceless. They shot thousands of rockets into Israel for 50 days and did practically no damage except for being a nuisance and bringing a similar number of air-strikes on their heads in return. What Artik said is true - the debris is dangerous and can cause some damage too. Many interceptions were happening over my parents house and debris was raining down on them. One rocket motor piece destroyed the neighbors kids swing in their yard - so Hamas can celebrate one destroyed swing in their favor. Hizballa also now watched in horror how their main strategic threat against Israel has been neutralized.

The other system that got less publicity is "Trophy" anti-anti-tank system. Hamas has learned from Hizballa's experience and equipped itself with lots of anti-tank missiles. They failed to destroy a single tank inspite of numerous launches - all destroyed by Trophy.

Well, it TRIES to look real. But most often it tries to make unreal things look real, that's why when you see a totally real looking house start to float off its foundation and fly away, it might be a good indication its cgi. ;)
They really do that in the air. Puzzling thing to watch.
My brother got married in 2012 during the previous Gaza round. On their wedding album pictures there is one where he and his bride are posing for the camera, but in the background there are two trails of Iron dome shooting up into the skies. This was completely un-intentional which makes it even more hillarious.

Awesome math skills there mate.  If firing those 40,000 dollar rockets stops them from losing the war, then how cost effective were they?

Let me tell you what they can't afford, losing the war.  Every penny you save because you were cheap will be taken from you when the enemy overruns your country and owns it.

All this fighting is getting worse because of global warming.  Before humans came and made everything warmer, things were not as warm.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Doesn't change the fact that it's bleeding money from your country as your enemies (Egypt, Iran, Syria etc.) are feeding Hizbollah with currency to build the crude weapons.

Make no mistake I'm very impressed with the military technology Israelis have developed.

You have been mislead by the evil anti bagel bakery conspiracy. There was a fantastic local bagel chain here called Kettleman's. Line out the door so to speak, it was all about the bagels. Bought by absolutely misnamed Einstein Bros Bagels. Barfgels. Place is empty. Corporate rollup BS if you ask me. They might as well just come clean and say "We grow by buying customers, because the american public will eat sh...t and call it a bagel if we tell them to."
Pies not kicks.
