An odd thing to ask
« on: October 06, 2014, 09:41:21 PM »
I have a rather odd hypothetical question to ask.

You are walking down the street one day and someone who looks exactly like you introduces themselves to you as your clone.

How would you react to the situation an why?

I would handle it like this:

Stare at him for a solid minute or two, and then walk away.

I really just don't need another one of me walking around.

find out if his life is better than yours...if so kill him and take it over....if not continue with your own life but kill him anyway....if he's a clone he may just be having the same thoughts...get in first   :rofl :rofl

What if he walks up and says "There you are!" then tells you that you are the clone.

Since cloning does not yet exist at the level needed to replicate a human, I must also deduce that he is a traveler across space/time. This means he violated the cardinal rule of time travel, "never meet yourself," as laid out in Back to the Future, and cannot be trusted.

I'd ask him if there are any more clones, open up an AH2 account for each clone, and then we'd fight each others to the death in 1 massive melee.  :devil

How would you know which one of you is really you?
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

I'd take him to lunch and figure out how to make more while we plot to take over the world.
