Chill out dude.  It was a comedy piece that I (and by the looks of it, others as well) felt pretty much hit the spot.  Namely, that in general, the US media is in panic mode and, that in general, the UK media is not.

I do not turn to comedy shows to get my "facts".  However, as the ancient Greeks pointed out over 2,000 years ago, comedians (or as the Greeks would say, the poets), efficiently establish the boundaries of acceptable decent within societies.  That is one reason why you need to pay attention to comedians.

ack-ack, you are wrong.  The nurses did us proper protocols from the CDC .   The fact is the protocols defined by the CDC were initially wrong.  That's not the fault of the nurses that followed to the letter the protocols they were given.  The protocols were later changed by the CDC.

I thought that the changes in protocols had more to do with strengthening compliance than with anything else.  i.e. a buddy system that is to be used in taking suits off.  The nurses said that they had exposed skin around their throats and that management told them to wrap a cloth bandage around the exposures.  That is the hospital and staff not following protocol.

I think it would be fairer to say that the weaker protocols were fortified.

What some people don't get about ebola is that it's spread through direct contact with it. You'd have to lick someone's poop or get some of their sweat/blood in your eyes or mouth. It's gonna be quite hard to contract ebola from another person in the US with the level of sanitation and health care that we have.

These experts disagree with you:

Given that health-care workers getting it is not rare, and that health-care workers supposedly know a lot more about protecting themselves than the average citizen, I wouldn't lightly dismiss the danger.

Also, here is the level of high-tech sanitation and cleanup we have had in the US (this being the cleanup of vomit in Dallas):
