muh boy!
« on: March 10, 2015, 09:15:38 PM »

Heres my dog Matsu in the last storm we had.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Shiba?  We had a couple of those when the kids were younger.  Heaven help the rabbits in the back yard with Shibas around

Yep. He is a Shiba. His full name is Akamatsu, after Sadaki Akamatsu (you can tell who named him)

Looks like he's hunting a mouse under the snow!  Notice how he noodles his head to 1 side then the other? He's listening for the mouse to move.

Or could be just a shiba having fun..... :devil   Silly dogs more like a cat than a dog....

Nef I read once that a shiba requires an owner who is atleast as smart as it.... you up to that challenge? :rofl

Hes a digger for sure. He tore up the yard last year. But as far as i know he hasnt caught or killed anything yet.

Hes pretty smart,  doesnt listen for anything, but knows several human fooling tricks.

Yest they are, there were bred to  be sufficient and think for themselves. Much like a terrier!

Being a spitz breed ya they will be diggers, whether snow or dirt it's how they survive.

You may not find a kill,it will likely eat small stuff like mouse or rat but will likely bring something like a rabbit back home to share!

I also heard it helps to fool the dog into think he's training you.... :rofl    Clickers and treats together work sometimes, thats if the dog thinks you make a silly sound before you hand over food...... :lol   They seem to be that smart!
