Mar has the correct gunsite.

The cockpit looks nice! I ran across a 3-D look into a spitfire yesterday and I tried to post the websits but the site got blocked from too many people killing the server. Anyhow, the cockpit looked identical to AH. I think they do a great job with the instruments. Although I'm not quite sure of the changes you have made for this hurricane cockpit (still looks clean to me though)  I'm sure they will continue to look as realistic as possible.

Maybe you could show us the new temp cockpit hahaha ;)

Good luck with the beta, glad to keep seeing updates and cannot wait to fly it!

The "new" cockpit looks softer.  It's not as sharp and most noticeably, isn't beating my head in with white. :)

Could always turn down the gamma  :neener:  :bolt:

See now for me. My 53 year old eyes kinda prefer the brighter white especially zoomed out at my normal viewing distance and angle/seating position.

If Skuzzy would be so kind as to please post a pick from the normal average seated position

I like the work they have done.........

But it still looks dated when place side by side with other flight sims.

One thing clearly needed is ambient occlusion (this is lights reflecting off walls and such) for things like gear indicators and backlit gauges which hopefully means we get some form of weather or night time in the MA. Also this night time should be at an increased time multiplier (say night time only lasts 1 hour or something where daytime is 3). Secondly we need someway to see that there are actually windows in the cockpit, small scratches near the base of the windows and such, not enough so its distracting but enough to see its there.

Sadly I'm doubting much of the night time stuff will happen with the current state of affairs.

Night time fighting and even when at dusk is extremely difficult to fight. But it may make it pretty fun. Just shedding some light (pun intended) that night time fighting very hard!!

Released with major bugs, abandoned by developer, community had to come up with fixes.  Awesome.

Nothing you said has anything to do with the quality of graphics.

Perhaps not make it a hardcore realistic night, all it needs to do is add a change of pace. Also hopefully we can get some flame effects from the exhaust stacks to see planes easier at night.

I know myself that constant sunny daytime with no weather what so ever makes the game seem very boring and dull over long periods.

SilverZ06, CavI didn't want to go there, but indeed.  :uhoh On the plus side, this new version is planting the seeds of all the necessary lighting goodies to eventually be able to tackle the 10 years behind look. :old: If AH wants to one day be taken as a serious simulator, they'll eventually have to kick it up in the 'detail/immersion' department. It was always what killed it for who ever I tried to make friends/co-worker join.  :cry

Well I don't think we need to be worrying about super charger settings, mixture, and starting engines on a cold day. ARMA has this type of simulation with helicopters, realistic flight model, but not a simulator where you need to press a thousand buttons.
