I've tried to come up with words to describe how moving y'alls tribute to Cashew was...

I cannot... :rock  :salute

 :salute Peanut...we all greatly enjoyed your grandpa and I feel for your loss brother...well wishes to your entire family...

Peanut, <<S>> :salute to Cashew and you for leading us on this Memorial for your Grandfather, I know by the overwhelming attendance that Cashew was liked and loved by many.  My deepest regards to  you and your family in this time of loss. You're all are in my prayers.
 I was truly honored to be apart of this display of Honor to one of our own in the Aces High Community.
 To all the Unforgiven: You truly did this man HONOR in the way you put this all together, I was utterly impressed, << Salute >> to you all  :salute
Finally, Thank you for letting me be apart of this Memorial flight for Cashew.

I was working or I would have been there. I never "knew" him but of course we crossed paths often enough.

I wish I would have known him. A huge loss to the game and the community. :salute

I just read every reply in this thread and dadgummit guys, why don't you try and make a grown man cry ! Like Trainee said earlier, this game is more about the human element to me. Since I have joined the AH community and especially since I've joined The Unforgiven with these fine men, I will never be the same. Wife ack thinks I'm a major geek for this but she just doesn't understand ! LOL ! Swoop, it is all good my man,(your comment about the smoke) we are just honored that you came to honor our brother along with the rest of you ! I must admit, when I saw you guys pouring in to pay tribute and definitely  during Trainees speech, I was tearing up. I will never be the same now that I have joined this awesome community ! If any of you guys ever need anything from me, just say the word !  :airplane: :salute

By the time trainee got done with his eulogy I doubt there was a dry eye in the house. .kinda hard to fly liKe that ya know

As Cahews former CO and  friend ( he left the sd on good term an with r respect,) we still flew together when we did joint ops with The UF. TY for allowing us to be apart of a great send of to a great guy.
