China not only "gets it" but allows it with a smile. NK produces no oil, as in 0 production. Every ounce of energy it must import from China, which pretty much give it away to them as well as much military equipment and food. Now why would they do such a thing?

Because China wants to be THE major player in Asia and NK is a cheap second front they can use to tie down their enemies forces. One in which they can use at their leisure by prodding the little fella to say something crazy or do something stupid.

I truly dont believe why westerners think China would be on our side in anything. They certainly wouldnt abandoned such a useful little fella just for blowing up some pudgy ministers.

That's all true. By the same token, it's true that there's less money to be made for the Chinese if the U.S. suffers a nuclear attack because the spoiled child running NK really is as insane as he appears.

China would never allow such an attack. Now if the midget went and did it anyway China would be the first to condemn them as they watch a tiny portion of America's nuclear might reduce NK to cinders and ashes. We have already warned them if they ever use those weapons we would annihilate them.

The Chinese have been quite happy to let NK starve, so long as the starving millions can't cross the border to the North, and so long as the guys who do have something to eat, the military, serve as a buffer at the border to the south. They will be less than happy if the Chinese border gets stormed by refugees if the regime collapses, or if the border to the south suddenly starts to move back and forth again.

China is propping them up only as much as they have to to make them a credible threat as a second front to the North. China's real ambitions are the southern Spratley Islands area cause they are rich in natural resources. That or maybe Taiwan. Its a whole lot of pay off for a rather small investment.
