1st time in 12 years I had a problem. Get booted as soon as I enter an arena. Using Sat for now but dial-up was much better.

Anti-virus?  I know a recent Kaspersky update has been causing problems with Aces High, as an example.

Also, try reducing the games "Maximum Texture Size" to its minimum.  This should test for a timeout condition where the amount of data needed to be downloaded to the game is taking too long.

Fugi's rep once makes me wonder. Do y'all see 2 attachments?
I have no active AV on my game rig.
Turned max textures down to 128. No change. When arena loads and cnt=o (info you get with Ctrl+I) I get host disconnect.
My ping according to game has went from 180ms to 225ms slowly over 12 year span, but it now show ---. I have changed nothing in 5 years.
Getting reports of warping on Satt so I would like to switch back.

Have you tried updating the drivers for your modem??? I know its a stretch but try that..

Another thing you might do ... as seeing your modem is 12 years old, have you thought of getting a newer one... they cant be that expensive..

Modum is PCI and after I play and shut down I unplug the power cord. The watch battery on the mother board quit 2 years ago.

This is going to sound odd, but try reducing the connection speed of the modem to 33.6K, or 28.8K.  There should be a control panel/dialog in Windows for that.

You mean the computer motherboard battery? Lately I've witnessed even total inability to boot if the battery is dead. Worth the $1 to change it. And after that set the bios to optimal settings.

Not only is it dead, it is laying on top of the case. Only change is the CPU and GPU fans run at 100%. I had to force them to 90% before in order to play more than 30 minutes at a time anyway, so I didn't sweat it.

Only choices in that range are 38.8 and 19.4. tried both with same results.
Ping shows late war on verison. Is this correct or am I connecting to a spoof?
I do know the infrastructure around me is degarading. Am I getting slow on the first few hops and verison is putting me on the back burner?
What's the deal with hops 7 and 8?
Just grasping at straws at this point.

Hop 7 is showing packet loss for the return trip back to your computer.  I'll have to run a trace back to your computer from the game server.

Hop 8 is normal.  It is ignoring the "ICMP ECHO" message used by ping plotter and other trace utilities.
