200/5 = 25

That equals 25 chances for newbies to up in the CHog before the tours over remember the chog problem a while back? I think the 200 perk thingie should not cover the Chog due to how low it is perked.  As a matter of fact I would rather have no free rides or no free perk givings.  If you want a 262 earn it.  Take up a 109G2/G6 or a 205. Not a spit and you'll have your 262 shortly.  Hell i once flew the 109G6 and other planes with a ENY value over 30 and targeted spits La7s and Nikis exclusivly and got over 100 perkies in 2 days.

As Wotan said, earn and loose like the rest of us (thinks back about when i hit a tree in a 262)

You all do of course remember that the entire point to perking planes is to keep them rare and only so a handful of pilots would fly them at any one time?

You don't have to be some kind of super uber pilot, I got something like 700perk points in the 190A5-- if you got problems getting perk points to get a plane, it's time to crawl out of those overly used ones that you are flying and get into something that will benefit you with a good number of perk points.

Step out of the D9, La7, N1K2, SpitIX, F4U-1D, P51D and get into a plane with something higher than an ENY of 18...

Hell, the La5FN has an ENY of 30- it's just a slower La7, but it will dominate over just about every plane in the arena. THe ones it can't turn with, it can run from.

Explore the other crates for more than 3 flights before you give up and go back to the overly used and least valuable planes.

I've already gotten back 100 perk points in 2 weeks (a total of roughly 10 hours of flying) by using high ENY value planes.

Without the perk system, we'd never see the early war rides as much as we do now.

I have no problems with it.

Definetly agree with Fester, bump up perkies to 200 ant start of tour and 'gift' perkies would be cool too.  Also give new accounts Maybe 200 - 300 perkies to start with. Otherwise earn your ride.

nothing for free.

no one is at a disadvantage because they "can't" fly a perk plane.

My squaddie brady got 50 perks in 1 sortie last night no rearm. My personal best was 32. While these represent the extreme I ordinarily can get an average of 8-10 per sortie.

You want free perks? get in a plane with an eny value of 30 and go get kills. There should be no perk "offset" for those who fly planes with a low eny value. One of the good things about perks (as we get more early war planes this will be even more true) is that it should add an incentive to fly a more variety of planes in the main.

Perk planes are supposed to be rare in the main. It makes no sense to have a perk system then to give away perks. While a 262 at 200 perks is a lot well so what. the rest 8-80 are well within the reach of even newbies.

Discos ctds suck maybe there should be some redress but my connections have always been solid so I could care less.

It would be nice to be able to give perks to another player. A group of guys meeting for a mission could ensure everyone's got enough for the ride. Could even double as a wagering mechanism for duels and such.

what would be cool is if the guy making the mission could use his perks to purchase perk aircraft for the mission.

Also there should be some perk structure related to mission only.
