P51 near miss of 109K4 in film but collision reported and 109 tail falls off.
P51 guns weren't firing.

It says I (109) collided with him (P51) even though he came at me from behind. Then it said he collided with me. Then 109 tail fell off, or at least most of it did. That was friendly ack but there were no hits on the 109 from ack or the P51.

If someone hits you from behind on your PC it's still a collision. Your PC has to see the collision not you.
The film shows a miss but it looks like the game saw his prop cut your tail. I'm guessing positions in film might be off by a foot or two at that speed.
