See, this is the time that killing the HQ would be beneficial to winning the war strategy since the other team won't know which base you are attempting to capture to win the war.

This is a big difference than killing the HQ with 45 bases left to capture with little action already on the map.

Couldnt agree with you more

Unless of course that HQ mission involves GV's on a 100+ mile run. Then at least for me it doesnt matter what time of day that bad boy goes down. We drop it when we get there and keep it down until discovered.

I cant remember and to be honest my motives were not to reset the map. I set out to take as much bishland as possible and we damn near took the entire front.

4-5 of us on vox staggered over 6 hrs did 90% of this while there were 29 players on the team total. Its not my responsibility to fight the entire war for my team. I just do my part.

The reasoning behind it is you can use long barrel gv's as artillery. It is possible to dial in a target with precision accuracy in this game from over 7 miles away. That means you never flash the HQ, Strat, or base while you drop it.

Some people dont see the point in that and that is fine. The object of fighting a war is to destroy the enemy and do so without loosing your life in this care your virtual life i.e. time invested.

It is truly special watching 5-9 players lined up shelling an HQ from 7 miles out. you would think that the drive is boring but its the opposite. We find a road, set the vehicle on cruise without having to touch the stick for minutes on end, and shoot the sht the whole way there. We take bathroom and smoke breaks along the way. It really is a treat :rock

We've drove for six hours to sneek a base right next to a HQ and then kept the HQ down for 16 hours. Driving really isn't an issue. We've drove for DAYS before.....
