Thoughts on the map gripes

Sorry my mistake, I did not mean to imply HTC never contributed to map making. I was referring to more current times, which still may be inaccurate. So just out of curiosity what/when was the last map that was released solely by HTC.

Because nobody complains about the skins.  If all we had was the default I doubt anyone would care.

The playground is a different matter. 

I do skins because it is fun and some people like them.   But they're hardly critical to the game.

2. - Just had his CraterMA conversion to AH3 beta posted by Hitech in the online Beta Melee area.

So vraciu you are lagging behind saint Greebo the skin maker and part time terrain guru.

You are either nuts or have seriously poor reading comprehension skills.  No one is bashing HTC or the players that graciously donate their free time to add content to the game.  They are merely questioning why maps, something that directly effects gameplay, has the ability to make the game feel "new" when a new map is released, etc.., are something that are not built, updated or whatever it takes by HTC themselves on some level?  Being so important to the game one would think they should, but I am just an outsider looking in.  Maybe I place more value on them than they are worth.

I'd like to add to this conversation although I haven't played in a couple of years....if y'all don't mind. The reason I left the game was because of the maps in LW. I got bored and tired of the same fights over the same bases and terrain over and over and over again. Every single fight was predictable and routine. Every base and tree looked alike. Ammo bunkers, hangers etc.... Even in GVs the same campers at the same spawn points was so predictable that it just became pathetic.

I loved the plane and GV set, flight models, skins, skill level and people. But after 6+ years of basically the same thing I decided to hang it up until things change. I'm convinced that the map issue is what caused the rapid decline in players. It is in my case anyway.
