Some players are having that problem, the rest not. Have you tried firefox using the the view image info? Someone pointed out the thumbnail is being generated along with the full sized image file in some cases. I'm only linking a full sized image file with no thumbnail.

Some of this I'm clipping with the Win7 snipping tool from the terrain editor or the flim viewer. Others of it I'm using Paint.Net to open the screen capture bmp then save as a jpg. I'm being hosted at Postimag.org.

Skuzzy and company are seeing a full sized linked image.

Its really hit and miss with me too. All of the "fleet" picture a few post back are fine, but all of the runway one on this page are small thumbnails. I've tried it with Firefox, IE, and two android phones, an S4 and an S6. All show the same except the S6 which uses a mobile version of chrome. Its just weird.

I ran an analyzer against one of the JPG I've posted which Fugitive and others had probems with. The only difference is on the download from my host, the compression method is changed. No matter the file I upload, from my HOST on the download, the compression method is changed to the same readout shown at the bottom when I analyze the downloaded jpg file.

Maybe skuzzy can make sense of this for your browers that default the file to a thumbnail.

File JPG converted in Paint.net to JPG.

NOTE: Files converted in Paint.Net and files captured in Win7 snipping tool directly to JPG both have the same download compression from my HOST.

Compression on my PC after conversion to JPG:

I do not know what those people who are seeing shrunk images have done, but it is something with their systems.  I would like to find out what it is.

Bustr, try using the bulletin board image facility to attach the images and see if that helps.  There may be something odd with the responsive template causing the problem for some people, at that place you are using to host the images.

Skuzzy,

I swiped my computer. Fresh installed Windows 8.1.  Saw the same problem with IE.  Downloaded Chrome, and have the same problem.

I have shut down some processes according to Black Viper's page :  http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-vipers-windows-8-1-service-configurations/

So, maybe I did something   :headscratch:

The real headscratcher is it only occurs with Bustr's images.  I don't know if they are only the ones from certain hosting site, or not.  I believe that he is doing everything properly on his end (with the exception of maybe using this hosting site -- just a wild guess).

As far as conspiracy theories go.....  :noid

Anyhow, it's unfortunate, because I really wish to see these images  :pray

Skuzzy and Bustr, the following is in no way aimed at you guys (just my reality), but my tolerance for fixing things has hit its limits:  I finally found the root cause keeping my work truck from starting.  After months, a tow, and mechanic fees, it turns out to be the "stop engine motor" Yes, my truck needs a motor to stop the motor... :bhead  and when that motor decides to stop, the other motor does not start:furious

Lucky, that I found a diagram and began talking to the old heads  :old: It was very close to selling old girl, or worse, spending  near 3 to 4 grand on a fuel pump injector that I wouldn't have needed.

It's probably Firefox.

It's not that.  I have tried to duplicate it with every browser out there.  I really think it has to do with the WEB site getting confused as to what the resolution of the computer monitor is and is automatically resizing the images as if the computers were phones.

Bustr, when you do this does the object display the default skin or whichever one you had selected? I noticed the P-51 was not the usual default skin.

Back when this first came up, I tried having one of the pics scaled for a 21inch monitor. Same people had the same problem. I uploaded one of the pics that they are having this problem with to Photobucket, which is having horrible problems now and why I'm using Postimage. Here is the jpg compression signature after a download from Photobucket.

I can install Photoshop CS2 just for them, or zip up the jpegs but, is it me or them when so many don't have an issue? I'm using very basic windows tools and Paint.net to create these files.
