B-29C Speeds
« on: March 31, 2016, 06:57:35 AM »
:airplane: I see some really good comments here on this forum, but just for the heck of it, less work a problem out on B-29's!

Takeoff weight----126,500 pounds

Runway length---- 9,450 feet

Altitude above sea level--- 50 feet

Outside air temp at takeoff---83 degrees

Headwind on takeoff-----15knots

Question: What is the V-1 distance in feet

Question: What is the v-2 distance in feet

Question: what is the VR distance in feet

Question: how much runway used to get airborne, with a positive rate of climb
Blue Skies and wind at my back and wish that for all!!!

Nothing is better than 6 mosquitoes, unless it carries an A bomb.
