Night setting
« on: June 11, 2016, 12:10:33 AM »
First of all, I absolutely love taking off and climbing out in the dark.

However, I would suggest once the two sides are getting close to joining battle, it would be a good idea if the time were bumped to dawn, even if a CM has to do it manually.  Many simply can't see in the dark.

Thought dark was good but oddly enough I would like it to be light until a couple mins after launch then make it night.  Makes it way easier if we can have missions to plan with.

I presume clock speed can be adjusted by CMs fairly easily to make it work?
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Makes it way easier if we can have missions to plan with.

Missions can still be planned and used, you just have to set the launch time to past 0530.

The 412th never uses the missions to launch, we always launch on my or someone elses command. It allows us to use the missions for planning and select a desired skin. Something that launching with the mission will not allow you to do anyway.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
