To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

When I was a youngling, I made my own gun by gluing 4.5 popsicle sticks and a clothespin together.  It shot a rubber band about 10 feet.  In the fourth grade I brought it to school and a teacher took it, and I had to talk to the principle to get it back at the end of the day, with a promise not to take it back to school.  I probably broke it after that, I don't really remember.

Colt I-22 .22LR.  I'm the only person I've ever met who had one.  Still a tack-driver.

First one I "owned" was a gift from my father.  It was a .22 marlin bolt action.  Still shoots tacks :)

First was a pump style bb / pellet gun. I don't recall the brand. First I purchased, S&W model 28 4" .357 Highway Patrolman. Actually carried it for a short time on duty years later until I bought a model 66. Sadly let a girlfriend borrow it as a way to keep her safe in a sketchy neighborhood. Never got it back.

50 cal Hawken. Only guns my dad would allow in the house were black powder (he had about 6 of them, including an awesome Remington Model 1858).
