Killing 519 tanks using only planes Rudel flew.

As was Brookes experience in Scenarios mine was in one also.  In Der Grosse Schlag.  We were escorting B17s deep into Germany.  We were attacked by a mix of 109s and 190s brilliantly

directed by someone....I suspect Stampf on this one  .   Anyway the 109s came in high over the bombers where our Jugs were.  109s job was to distract the escort while the 190s came in a bit lower

to attack the B17s.  Was a brilliant plan.  What a HooT!  massive amount of 8th air force fighters tangling with Luftwaffe fighters and tracers flying everywhere in the sky from fighters and bombers.

To make this short.....we got some of our bombers to target and our Jugs were very low on fuel.  In the process of the fight I managed a few kills and shooed some 190s of our 17s' six.

The flights got separated.  I don't know how many of the 56th (in the scenario) made it out.  I was alone rtb cut way back because of fuel.  Didn't think I would make it when I picked up

two forms of B17s.  Both forms were short a plane and two buffs had fuel leaks.  I picked them up and escorted both forms to the nearest allied base.  I ran out of fuel on approach landing

at an Allied Base. The B17s touched down and so did I.  That my friends is what Aces High is all about!

Back when my squad had squaddies, 6 or 7 of us flew goons at 20k to some remote base and dropped our troops all over the field.
The funny part was a C.205 upped to kill us and at one point ran to ack when I acquired his six.

I don't have much of an achievement or much bragging rights.

But I was practically raised by the AH community. I was 12 when I joined the forums, roughly around the time H2H went under if I recall right.

I learned a lot about class and respect from my short run-ins with different squads and groups of people, from my first squad leader AApache who took me in for a short time (maybe even as short as a trial period), to the kids of the 357th Death Dragons, Xtrepid and the Soup Cans, to OddCAF who taught me a lot about having fun and letting go with the 47 Ronin. A great many people left a mark on me in some way or another.

I learned a lot about history and a lot about life.

Now I'm just about 22, all grown up and fighting the good fight in Afghanistan.

So I guess my achievement is meeting you clowns.

Greatest gameplay achievement, probably coming out on top getting bounced on the deck in my P47D11 by 3 or 4 people, I want to say 4 but it might've been 3   I'd just killed someone else and had no E whatsoever, 500 feet alt, and I managed to kill them all.  Some guys might call that Tuesday but it was an awesome feeling.

Greatest achievement overall though is definitely the people I've met.

Winning my first KOTH

16 Kills in a TA152 one sortie

16 kills in a CHog one sortie (only friendly bird in the area vs a bish horde)

15 kills in a Firefly from field to spawn (They were sitting on our field and I pushed them back to their spawn)

Landing 2 kills in a P38L (My first sortie ever landed)

I wiped out an entire Vtard mission single handedly in a Wirbelwind.  21 confirmed kills in a little under 5 minutes.

Learning to fly the K4 and aim the 30mm is by far one of my top achievements.

 I still use the same gunnery techniques today, even in other sims. Once you learn how to make deflection shots it's hard to miss in any plane you fly.

I was wholly immersed attacking those formations.  My cohort in the lead 109 was Perdweeb.  Always worked very well with him over the years. He understood patience and how to effectively stay up top and keep escort fighters busy and looking over their shoulders, allowing me to get the boys in - to do good hot work against the forts.
