Poll to follow up on ENY Question

I logoff.  When the reverse is the case often my opponents logoff.

Neither situation is any fun. 

I want targets.   ENY negatively impacts this.

I keep flying whatever I can fly. If there are better fights elsewhere I may switch to the low number team.

I login to kill red guys.  It does not matter to me what I kill them with.

you ENY whiners need to grow some huevos and fly the mid war and early war planes-there are some perks to flying them-more challenge, when you kill lower eny planes more perk points, and achivements, I know I know many of you don't care for them or try to get them, but you could try that's what they are there for, I know they mean nothing but still, could be a goal to strive for.

With all the lovely aircraft available in this game, one wonders...why would someone refuse to fly anything but one plane...?

Only other plane than the P-38 is the B-25H, both planes rarely blocked from ENY. 

To the OP...well, quite frankly, ENY is a non-issue with me and not as detrimental to the game as some make it out to be.

Mossie was never locked.

That said, if it had been there are other low ENY things I was comfortable flying.  Locking yourself into an ENY 5 fighter seems willfully self limiting as it is known that those suffer frequent ENY locks.  If you're going to master a single plane, at least pick something ENY 20ish.

As to the plane actually being discussed here, the P-51D, I've never understood why the P-51B is not an acceptable substitute.  It is extremely similar to the P-51D.  Closer than any two A6Ms, Bf109s, Fw190s, Spitfires or Yaks are to each other.

Its not a "non-argument" as you put it, you log off and so are hurting the numbers. Easy fix, fly something else, and we have one more player looking for a fight.

No.  I am not interested in that.   

If my ride was available more often (like it used to be) then switching to other rides wasn't an issue.  But when it is ENYed more often than not, no thanks.  It is highly annoying to land, tower, and re-up only to get the unavailable message every other sortie, too.   ENY during low numbers is like watching a racquetball fly around.

I can die just fine in the P-51D.   I don't need to fly a P-38G to be cannon fodder.

I don't have to read minds.   We have 200 for that. 

People leave all the time when ENY hits and it ruins fights even when ENY is favorable to me.   Seen it more than once.

Often the B isn't available either.

When ENY regularly exceeds the number of players on your team that's a problem.

ENY must stay one way or another, fighting 1:2 or worse  does not make anyone happy.

Changing ENY for some planes would make sense though.


The 3 gun LA-7 comes into my mind be the first one to get lower ENY.
The 2-gun LA-7 with 50% less firepower at the same weight shold stay at 5.

I guess everyone have a list what ENY planes should have.
