I just finally got to see the movie. Best SW film which for me means Empire got trumped!!!

A real personal story with real sacrifice for the tone.  No where close to any Star Trek episode and film where 99.999% survival is given to main cast. This showed a real war.  No thought to success of action figures for profits.

Glad to see Goldenrod and Troublemaker. They are now 11 for 11 in all Star Wars films.  Doubt they will be in Han Sole movie but you never know.

Enjoyed seeing the use of characters who had died in Star Wars and or actors who had aged or passed away.

Finally, they came up with a tangible reason why a single fighter could destroy an entire space station.

I didn't have any problems with the movie. I can be particular when the producers don't respect the intelligence of the audience. Case in point.  ID Resurgence.  1996 War resulted in destruction of 200 major cities and deaths of over 3 billion people.  20 years later as population has returned to full potential and complete rebuilding of all destroyed cities and infrastructure. Okun wakes up from a 20 year coma and leads tech defense with no acquisition of technology and knowledge learned from 20 years of new reverse alien technology.  This film makes Pluto Nash an Oscar winner.

I look forward to Episode 8 and future SW films.
Chuck Norris can pick oranges from an apple tree and make the best lemonade in the world. Every morning when you wake up, swallow a live toad. Nothing worse can happen to you for the rest of the day. They say money can't buy happiness. I would like the opportunity to find out. Why be serious?

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

This flim is estimated to be 35 times better than star wars/spiderman/lord or the rings/transformers movies.

Floob you are off topic by at least a factor of 35. You're also wrong.

I really enjoyed Rogue One. I thought they did a good job of giving it the original Star Wars "feel" and was the best movie since the originals, IMO.

I thought it was somewhat sentimental as well, as most all of the big characters would have been alive at the time of Rogue One...just gives you the fuzzies.

Agreed, Son and I saw it....for someone like myself that was 9 or 10 when the very first Star Wars came out, it was really cool to see the back story to it....We saw it the day after Carrie Fisher passed....gave me the same fuzzy but sad feeling.

Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.
