I'm doing that in reverse, just started High Castle, book = great, high hopes right now.

The Man in the High Castle is an excellent TV series. However, it is only loosely based on the story in the book. It's kinda its own thing set in a similar setting.

Heh, I've always loved that line from the classic film "Airheads", when discussing Moby Dick - "they made a book out of that?".

HaHa I binge watched High Castle right after discovering Prime(wifey has the Amazon Prime for shopping). Then Deadwood, then Expanse. Probably Boardwalk Empire next if we don't sign up for HBO just to watch WestWorld...

What's the consensus on episode 2?  I liked it, they have made this a very interesting serious IMO.

You're looking at April-May. Will be released on Netflix et al after it's done on Syfy.

Amazon Prime also has it.  They have the current episodes, but you have to pay for each one.  The first season is free.  Not sure when it goes free on Amazon though.  Happy to wait.

I liked it quite a bit.

We are just getting started GMAN.......it's about to get really interesting.  The show has done a lot of work to set up what the story is all about and they kept it entertaining and interesting during this first phase.

Now, it's about to get really good.  Hang on to your hats my friends!
