Vox Breaks Up
« on: March 06, 2017, 11:23:06 PM »
Other players tell me that my speech is clear at the beginning of transmissions but then breaks up as I continue. So they don't understand what I am saying. Any ideas on how to fix? DxDiag attached.

try a different transmit button if it is "sticking"
if that isn't it check all your background processes for programs that maybe consuming upload data.

Might want to give that a try.

Also, check your game server connection using Ping Plotter.  See if there is any packet loss showing up.

Have you tried recording yourself to see if you are coming out clear also. It can be a mic problem.

I've used the windows voice recorder and several different mics. They all sound fine on the recorder. I've also tried 3 different mics in the game in the last 24 hrs. Thanks for the suggestion but it's not the mic.

Thanks Skuzzy, power cycling the router has resolved the problem, at least for now. I guess I need to do that more often.

With respect to ping plotter, do you mean the free software offered here? http://pingplotter.com/products/free.html

I've never used it and try to be careful with what I download.
