I lost the book in a fire, but in "Dirty Little Secrets of the Vietnam War", it listed every divisions combat readiness circa 1967.  The divisions in Germany were listed as "Poor".  If the Soviets came through the Fulda Gap we would have gotten clobbered.

Interesting video though.
