Perhaps Windows firewall was turned on after the install?  Skuzzy can give you the port to open up for the udp traffic if you need to leave it on.
We have clearance, Clarence. Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

First thing to do is to find the firewall(s).  Then to see if they are suspect, simply disable them for a bit and test VOX.  If it works, then you know where the problem is.  From there it should be a simple matter of opening the firewall up for the game.  How that is done will depend on the firewall.

Thanks Hyzer.  Windows did turn its firewall after the install. So, it and the Kaspersky firewall were killing the frame rates.  I disabled the windows firewall and the rebates improved.

Skuzzy, thanks!  I'll look into it and see what's going on.

Skuzzy, I confirmed Windows firewall was disabled, turned off the Kaspersky firewall, and tested VOX in game.  Still no good.  All that happens is my Callsign lights up when transmitting over Channel or Range.

After plugging in the USB microphone and testing it in Windows Sound Recorder, did you make sure it was selected in the games Options->Preferences->Game Sounds?

If you are behind a router, is there a firewall in the router?

Yes, I did check and the new microphone is selected in the game sounds menu.  I am not aware of the Apple time capsule having a firewall but, will check.  Thanks!
