Is there a method of uploading photos to forums without using photobucket or similar apps?

Yes, the forum will need to allow you to store your photos on it and then typically you would attach your photo to your post in that forum.

On this forum uploading/attachments is allowed in the film and screenshots area, for film and screenshots.
Other non-film and non-screenshot photos need to be uploaded somewhere else and then linked to from here.

Other than that, if you belong to a squad who has a website see if they will allocate you some space and you could upload there and then create a link on the forum of your choice, to that image.

i may be wrong but i think sharing directly from google drive might be prohibited now, but if i'm wrong , then that's another option.

Yes, if you have access to a server. I don't know how it's over there, here the ISP's often give some website space on their servers. Or you can simply buy some server space in a web hotel, they're quite inexpensive if you don't need any extra services.

At the very simplest, there's the little + sign below the new message window, saying Attachments and other options. Attachments are enabled on some forums like Technical Support, Bug Reports and Hardware and Software for adding extra information.

I know you said you don't want a file hosting site, but IMGUR is far better than photobucket.
There are no ads, so everything is pretty quick...

You have all made a terrible mistake. Some of us have seen Zack's picture collection. They aren't all laminated naked photos of Elton John or Bruv119  :eek:
