If the complaint was having a spawn camper shooting uppers in the back, wouldn't it have just been easier to close the back door? You'll still get some people back there...I guess they just have to work a little harder to get there.
No big deal to me. As soon as I see that someone is back there, I'll just go play somewhere else on the map.
I agree. A spawn-camper will only have a harder time getting into camping position IF someone bothers to up a tank and sit
inside the walls to protect the spawn hanger. That would now be the optimal place to defend it, however, this is not great gameplay is precisely what players
don't do now.
The dedicated spawn-camper just bounces from base to base until they find an unprotected one. Unless I am missing something else new, these walls will just
help the spawn-camper by providing protection from external fire and will allow them to easily get the drop on any approaching outside vehicle. In effect, this configuration makes spawn-campers
harder to get rid of than ever before. What I believe this will also do is allow one or two players to more easily capture a V-base.
Perhaps a single long wall behind the VH would be better? At least this would allow defenders to attack an in-place camper from outside while limiting the spawn-camper's room for movement/repositioning.
Or can the spawn hanger simply be "turned around" to face outward?
I still think the best solution is to allow spawning in different directions or at different hangers, if that can be implemented.
