What’s your favorite AH matchup?

My top three is:

p47d25 Vs. 190A5

109f4 Vs. Spit 5

P51D Vs. 190D9


All aircrafts which equally balance each other out in my opinion... it just takes who ever has better mastery of the aircraft in the situation.


Honorable mention:

Ki84 Vs spit16

F4u4 vs ki84/N1K

La-5 Vs 109G6.

Against a set of B17 you can actually set up a good position against 21k B17 set.
IF 999000 would fly a set of B26's I would never touch them before sitting in tower.
They are the uberbombers of AH, much faster and same bite as the B17 flying low.
The B26 is by far the 1most durable plane in AH history, now when they finally removed stalin-wood on the Yak3

I like any match up to be honest. I only dislike going against a yak3 or a 262. But than again i like crushing dweebs in wonderplanes. Other than that i like surprising pilots that fly better planes than me and i like to be surprised by pilots in weaker planes. Its part of the fun for me. I have only planes that i like to fly.

Those are all good (admitting that I have virtually no experience with the third). 

You missed what I think is AH's best historical match, the Spit I v. Emil.  I also like 202 v. P-38G and Tony v. P-40N.

Lately I have been meeting other B-26 drivers in the air, it’s always fun to chase a flight down in another flight. I’ve ran in to Lancs as well as B-17’s. I know it’s not super action packed but it has become a past time of mine in game.

P38J vs K4 or G14 is a fun fight IMHO.  Depending on E levels, the J can end up roping or catching the 109s hanging on their prop.  It can get interesting.

Some of the fights depend on altitude for me.

P47M vs TA152 at 30K is a good one.

Spit 14 Vs K4 at 20K is fun

LA5 vs G14

Too many to think of, your initial list is all good. It is best when they have a semi historical correctness to them.

Also my 11 G2 against anything, even if I lose, the fight was worth it!

G2/G6 versus just about anything above 30ENY are great fights.  Love those two planes.
