Sure looks like a Russian sub after looking at the conning tower.

never less,  that about 1000 miles trip for any sub to make it to Lake Ontario.  If this is true that is remarkable for a German sub to make a trip like that without being spotted.

It is defo true and it has been dated to April 1945 when it was observered occupants with vast amounts bullion were landed.

The information indicates that it is linked the the story of Nazi officials landing in South America in 1945.

The high ranking German government officials were in talks with allies as early as February 1945 to allow free passage out of the Reich :old:

I'm really not familiar with Lake Ontario but... how would a sub
get into it without surfacing?

LOL!
Yeah, and it had to be done in a dark room. Dodging and burning. I told my youngest son about this procedure when I was in high school photography and he said "That seems like a lot of work, why didn't you guys just use photoshop?"

The Sub Photo?

That's a real photo of Soviet Submarine K-159 in the Barents Sea.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

The land/snow/trees on the left hand side look added on to me.

Either that or that sub has no draft and those branches are huge.

I'm really not familiar with Lake Ontario but... how would a sub
get into it without surfacing?

especially when lake Ontario is just over 700 miles trip.  No sub would make it up the river at full speed against a strong current and the deepest is only 250 feet with out surfacing.

And such a finding like this is huge......a freaking gold mine.  finding the USS Lexington and  USS Juneau is big but a unexpectedly discover a German sub in that condition that is in and in all places that you would think they would be found but not in Lake Ontario should be a huge world attention.

Just hard to believe it is true for such a find and little attention.
