Without looking back at the logs, I was going by memory, which isn't so good these days
But I can confirm each round I was there by going back and looking how each one played out.... If it shows that we fought earlier then I must have already been in a fight and he joined 2 or 3 of us....
I would have to go back and check...

Not playing gotcha here. But it makes the point that many times we get an impression that may not be entirely correct.
I wouldn't call it a fluke that you won... I've seen some crazy things where it was down to the last 2 of us and the other guy had bested me.... But he augered before I went down.... I hated it and didn't want that round win.... Stuff happens

Well, win or lose I really had fun. I wound up flying some planes I'd never bothered with before and after years of driving (almost exculsively) the bus that is the P-51D it was an interesting experience to say the least.
