I just looked at the manual for my VKB MCG-PRO stick and it has a feature to assign mouse functions to a hat switch or other buttons. Axis, wheel, left and right buttons. This stick has a mini stick on it and one of the hats is dual purpose that works as a standard 8-way hat that switches to a 2 axis control with a short or long center press. I use that one for pitch and elevator trim mostly as I have TIR. I wouldn't be surprised if you could use one of those as a mouse emulator too. This thing does all kinds of crazy stuff with all the buttons and hats there are. Pricey and dang near unavailable most of the time. Small company making small batches of a niche product.

You may want to consider the TrackerIR.   For me, I found it a better way to go for game views.  I've been using it as delivered out of the box since it first became available in AH.

Yeah, the more I play, the more TrackIR looks like the way to go.

Once you get used to it you'll generally never go back to a hat switch for views. To the point where when watching others YouTube vids that DON'T use TIR you'll be moving your head trying to adjust the view!

My humble opinion, if you're going to play a game like this, you should have a HOTAS, rudder pedals, and trackIR.  Both the pedals and TrackIR were complete game changers for me.  One bit of advice- if you get TrackIR, adjust it until you're happy with the way it's working.

For me at least, if something about it wasn't working to my liking it didn't go away, I didn't get used to it, kind of like a bad tooth.  It's a more personal setting than your joystick buttons, IMO.  Tweak it til you're happy.  It will take some time, but it will pay dividends in the long run.
