I haven't been very active around here the last few months but I know some of you already knew I was in the Air Traffic Control training for the FAA.
I became a Certified Professional Controller at Buchanan Field Airport (KCCR, East Bay Concord California) earlier this year.
Since then I have worked a Warbirds day with a P51, B25, B24, and B17(All doing overhead manuevers
), up to 7 aircraft in the pattern(4 on the 19R, 3 on 19L), 116 operation hour and multiple other hours with over 100 ops an hour.
And got to say....I love it, sitting in AC watching planes go by...if only some of you pilots could see my facial expression when I see those landings
If anyone ever flys into KCCR ask for ZC(my initials)
Thanks to people like Lilmak and B2B(and others) for giving me advice before this new career path
