Shouldn't there be a button in the Terrain Editor, on the Terrain Tab, to export the active terrset in all its glory, or at least all the texture bitmaps? I've lost track of all the ways I accumulated my copies.
If they are to stay as zip files, I think they should be stickied in the Terrain forum but that will lead to the occasional update maintenance issues. And in my copies, the paths in the zip files pointed at directories on your root, C:/ level, and had to be re-written.
On the Objects page, you can select an object and export its textures.
