What happened to WO:P?
« on: July 09, 2019, 10:01:23 AM »
I log in there every so often and there are no players and doesn't look like it has been updated in a few months. Is it a bust?

I suspect WO:P is still a WIP.  I suspect there is more a'foot.  Perhaps integrations with a betting/prize system?

I think it is a good example of why an infinite, pointless furball with no strat or goal, or win-da-warz quickly exhausts interest.  Despite what the Furball Mafia always predicted would be a Utopia.

War Online:Pacific is free to play easy flight mode for players who want instant action and enjoy ACM without monitoring the stall buzzer. It's the best completely free VR flight sim. Whenever I talk to a gamer I recommend both WO:P and AH3 and offer to help them get started.

With only 37% positive reviews it might not be a bad thing if there's no much advertising...   :noid

Y'know...  I've got this giant tub of popcorn and a case of beer beside me, this thread has potential.

On the other hand, my feelings on the subject give me a deep and abiding sadness.  I guess I should up my beer intake?

That is not a furball arena. It is a beginner arena for those wishing to learn basics.

If your referring to the flight model...

I believe that Hitech stated that is only temporary, that eventually you will be able to select full-flight-model mode. Maybe you will earn more War Cash when you get kills with full-mode.  Etc.

If it had full realism flight model this very second, do you think it would be populated?

Did Hitech ever state that as the purpose?  I didn't realize that.
